I can’t believe another Monday is here. Where does the time go? Yesterday I spent the day helping my sis paint her family room ceiling (my neck is sore). I’m very excited because her room is coming together. As I mentioned in this post I’m using my new skills as an interior design student to help my sis and brother-in-law with a room redesign. We have a ways to go because they are adding window seats, a concrete fireplace, new lighting, and are refinishing their hardwood floors before the magic can happen.
Anyway, back to my day of painting. During our break we made a trip to City People’s Hardware Store in Seattle. This store has so much more than tools, paint, and nails. They sell clothing, home goods, furniture, and lots of nicknacks. I took some pics while I was there of the things that caught my eye. If I hadn’t already bought Christmas stuff on Saturday I would have been spending my mula.
checking out these lamps, but I think it had to do with all the scented candles in there.
Have you started shopping for xmas decor like I have? Chris and I are determined to get our gift shopping done early this year, mostly to help spread the cost. I’m finding myself getting really excited about the holidays even though I was in denial at first (short summer in Seatte=long winter that I’m not ready for).
